Benefits

Qualified and Caring Teachers

All Crispus Attucks Charter School teachers meet the Every Student Success Act (ESSA) Teacher requirements and are PDE-certified to teach their assigned subjects. Our staff are dedicated to providing the support, tools, and resources needed for our students to transition to post-secondary education or job opportunities.

Certified Curriculum and Job Skill Opportunities

Lesson plans are aligned with the State standards and Common Core framework. Certifications in special childcare, construction and healthcare tracks are available as part of the YouthBuild program to help students gain an edge upon graduation.

Leadership Opportunities

The student body elects students to serve on the Youth Policy Council. Council members ensure that all students are functioning well in the charter school, address and solve student difficulties or concerns, and suggest positive ideas that will improve goals of the school. The Council members also assist in planning fundraisers, special events, and community service projects.
